The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is warning that the global economic downturn could create a widespread humanitarian crisis in the world’s poorest and most vulnerable countries.

As an addendum to my previous comment, let me say that I am not blaming AJE for the vacuous content. They just report the news, they don’t make it. And the technical values of the program are good to very good.
And Jane Dutton is truly a joy to watch and listen to. A consummate professional, her voice and accent are in that clear medium range that can easily be understood from Glasgow to Fremantle to Jo’burg.

You havent actually tried to debunk this fact. You cant win arguments by insulting people. I think its time you grew up. You need to consider any possibility as a likelyhood. Im not saying the Bible is right. But at the same time you cant discount the possibility thats its true.
I am simply stating what people believe…When it is said out loud the mythology of it is clear. What bothers me is many people use the Bible as something to hide behind as they spread hate toward women and other groups the Bible says are abominations and should be killed.
Seriously, this is the 21st century it is time to let go of Bronze Age myths and start caring for our fellow humanbeings.
Not to mention the attack on science and medicine by religious people.
The Bible is a valuable historic book as is the Quran and all other mythological writings. However, people are trying to teach humans walked with dinosaurs 600yrs ago and that science is bad!
Could you picture what our world would be like if these people got their way?
The new wave of medicine based on genetics comes from the vast amount of knowledge gained from our firm understanding of evolution. Evolution is not a religion it is science fact as is the earth is not flat.

Yeah, Bush did it. He threw the world into a financail crisis, but who was controlling Bush. Really, lets not forget about the controversy surrounding Bush’s first Pres. win. Also, don’t forget about Greenspan and the sh*t he started. No, when you look at the USA dont count out sabatoge by other countries. It may seem that Bush is responsible for a lot, but lets not overlook other powerhouse countries like France, and Britian.

Im a man of science. I believe in evolution and creation at the same time. God is more than likely a multi dimensional being who lives beyond the 3RD dimension. Beyond space and time. THe LHC and method of discovering new particles uses a multidimensional model that conforms with sacred geometry 1:1.618 golden ratio. I think you have a negative narrow minded image of religious groups. We dont all live in the bronze age. And I dont take the Bible stories literally. They are a message.
The Bible message regarding creation actually refers to the science and nature of reality. Most Christians dont undersatnd the full message in the Bible. They have sadly distorted its true meaning. The hiatus in human evolution in humanoid shape bipedal. The most advanced we will get is where we are now. And therefore closest to comprehending a higher creator. This is where the line comes from ” we are made in the image of God”. We are more Godly than all other creatures.
There is no such thing as ‘aid’. Studies have shown that 90% of US foreign aid actually goes back to US corporations. Then they take over their commodities by mass privatisation. The IMF and World Bank perpetuate this bullshit, they are scum.

There are a system of laws in place to protect your private property. The system of laws in the US to federally regulate derivatives was loosened first under Clinton then Bush, and then Greedy Bankers did the rest.
Its easy to blame human nature on our problems, but when i come home and someone broke the lamp i dont blame human nature i go for the culprits.

Look I agree “kinda” with what you have said…Those who think the way you do are not spending hundreds of millions of dollars trying to prevent others from having the same rights as the majority; teaching children we humans walked the earth with dinosaurs 6000yrs ago; science is bad; etc…However, to say we are as advanced (Evolution or Technology) as we are going to get is absurd to say the least! No one really knows about Evolution but Technology is moving forward at break neck speed!
As far as Evolution goes…Who knows where “nature” will take humans or any other life form on this planet. However, we have already begun to change ourselves through genetics. As time rolls on we will develope new propulsion systems that will allow us to explore our solar system and beyond. Not to mention all the little advancements we see each year in terms of technology & medicine.
But how do u make the distinction between the culprit and the culprits actions or behavior?
Yes, it can be controlled, but only to a certain degree. B/c as you are aware, we’ve had laws for a very long time now, and even tho we keep introducing new laws, people continue to violate them.. so bringing in new laws is not solving the problem, b/c the way i see it, the problem is with the way society is conditioned.. this kind of conditioning or indoctrinating is conducive to egotistical behavior and decision making.
I mean, how do you distinguish between the culprit and the nature (i.e. conditioning) of that culprit?
