What’s up with the sound on this video?
@genie0390 That would make him the most ineffective “radical” in the history of radicals.
@genie0390 Like I’ve said before that would make him the most ineffectual communist in the history of communists. By the way a ton of different ideologies use the terms “income redistribution” and “social justice”. You keep seeing communists everywhere and you’ll eventually get your wish. That’ll be a bad day for all of us.

@wastelandsoldier1 : do as I say, not as I do – Obama -
@wateryskipper : that’s why you elected Obama – so how’s your change thing going there?
@tehant1liberal : I actually do think you do have a legit argument. There’s nothing wrong with organizing unions or special interest groups to voice their collective views. I have no problem at all with these groups.
The problem is that they just don’t want to just express their views, but they want the gov’t to legislate in their favors – against local / foreign competitions (eg, microsoft, steel), against freer-market (eg, regulation), for lucrative gov’t contracts, bailouts, subsidies
@tehant1liberal : unions likewise want tougher labor laws, higher wages, lucrative pension. They are not there to promote ideas that improve the system or benefit the society as whole, but to serve their own small interest, even at the expense of everyone else.
@tooltalk Obama is a hell of alot better than McCain. This country would have been definitely a disaster witn Paling on board.
Very important video, Cenk.
5 sta… ehr, thumbs up.
@audadvnc I agree with you and I’m an avowed Big Government fan, for all you libertarians out there. The government at any level should be an instrument of the people – and it still is, to a great degree – but it has become more and more an instrument of the wealthy against the people, and this is intolerable.
@RAMKING61 I watched it too. It’s sad that little has changed since then.
@wateryskipper : hm.. that’s very odd b/c Obama hasn’t changed anything at all – do you happen to be a member of the Nobel Peace committee?
Every American should watch this and wake up. Your elected representative DOES NOT represent you. They only represent special interests and corporate America. Your rep does not represent YOU. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Vote everyone out of office. It is the only solution.
@genie0390
Not nearly as naive as you.
@tooltalk we do have healthcare..unfortunately Obama is not FDR but this is a great start. Whether you like it or not he is your president. If you want change, keep writing to your reps and connect with like-minded people; and make changes peacefully. We are getting change and it is a process. No, I am not a member of the Nobel Peace committee. Are you a member of the Nobel Peace commitee?
@CapitalistOverlord
Keynesian economists don’t believe in income equality,..they hold that passing more income to poor people increases economic prosperity because they have a much higher propensity to consume durable goods and services
Obama is not smart enough to know this without his advisers! His ideology has more to do with class warfare
I bet Obama believes in abolishing private property, but he’s scarred to try
your mentor can’t be worth a lick of salt, judging by ur comments
@jotunobsidianeyes
i wouldn’t say he’s ineffective, he’s screwing America up real good so far
look at the screwing he gave all those young progressive fools, the 18 to 26 crowd, that so strongly supported his health reforms and covering the uninsured
he mandated that these misguided fools buy expensive insurance, subsidizing the old, or live at home
progressive fools will have much less money for cars, drugs, music, girls, travel
that’s very effective i would say
but Obama is ok right? you all are zombies. he can do no wrong but he is crap
@wateryskipper : no, you are a bit too slow / dense. My comment on the Nobel committee was a sarcasm. So you are essentially saying that voters elected Obama to continue Bush’s policies in the ME and the financial bailouts? that the political establishment is truly represent the views of those who write to their representative? You are an idiot.
Sometimes crooks advise police in tactics, in this case its no different.
The proof will be in the pudding when people start to see the benifits. Those people will then be given an opportunity to say NO I don´t enjoy the benifits my ailing son is receiving” and I will vote in a Republican. Easy as PIE! That platform the Republicans will bring forth in Novemeber is to take those benifits away. Obama is correct, people will vote for their personal best interests.
He has no barred insurance companies from denying coverage for people with existing conditions. DONE. Thats a benifit to millions of people.
Next, he´s the ONLY president to have passed a reform bill for the people rather than for the corporations.
He has another 3 years to complete and it couldnt have happend with out the conservatives…they brought the USA to its knees and it took a backlash of voters to load up congress enough YES votes to change America for ever?
@tooltalk I must be slow and dense to think that I can have an intellectual dialogue with you. I am sure that there is some kind of wisdom in you, but you do not show it. You speak with ignorance and want to battle. I guess this is your frustration and you use this as free therapy. We have all been there. You are taking on a role as a troll and I will not get sucked into this. Yes, I am proactive in peace. I wish you peace as well. God Bless.
