A lot of economists predicted the collapse, not just LaRouche.
LaRouche predicted nothing. He’s been a constant source of gloom and doom without any specific references to the current derivative’s meltdown. That clown is always in a crisis and he’s always said that collapse is ‘just around the corner’ though the several recessions between 1976 and now. He’s like bad religion.
If you want to know something about economics, and how to rebuild a collapsed system, I suggest you read LaRouche’s latest paper. It’s available at the LaRouchePAC website.
As an interesting side-effect, you might also discover something about his method of forecasting, which is not based on the totally failed mechanistic-statistical approach that you might have been studying.

It was not a collapse. FYI: It was a scam to move trillions of dollars from retirement plans and scared shareholders into the hands of others. mark my words. The “collapse” was planned. The government gave the banks the leverage to buy all the securities the “havenots” got rid of during the collapse of the stock market. The stock market will rebound and the banks will make trillions. The housing market will settle to a realistic level where homes are priced much lower than they are now.
If he says that the economy will collapse for his entire life, odds are that he’ll be correct. It doesn’t prove that all of his reasoning for the collapse are correct. I could say all my life that we need to start printing as much money as we need and have a standard that cannot change or the economy will collapse, but it doesn’t make my opinion credible. In addition the media does not claim that nobody knew about the collapse, rather they make this fallacious argument about other people.
Again, stop this crap and start reading a paper by LaRouche himself. You may learn something which will make you stop babbling. The issue is the nature of the breakdown crisis — let’s discuss that instead. Let’s discuss the alternative to this deadly monetary system. I’ll have to get back to you on that, as currently I feel I simply do not have the education to credit or debunk anyone’s economic ideas. I CAN say that there is nothing glaringly wrong with LaRouche’s. My point was merely to tell you that the argument in this video is fallacious, and you need only type the phrase “predicted the collapse” to see how often it is thrown around by the media and other people, and you stoop to the level of those you criticize when you publish this kind of thing.
Yes lets focus on the issue at hand instead of making frivolous claims about who predicted what.
I read many of LaRouches stuff. He does have some good points, but he definitely has some short-circuiting in his reasoning. There are smarter people around with better solutions.

He does associate with them and approves of it. He has his own youth, like Obama.. in that respect, he is like a cult leader. as i said, he has some interesting insights, but also puts out a lot of garbage. And he is not very coherent in stating his views.. as i said, there are better people and organizations to be involved with out there… just to name a few: Mises institute, Campaign4liberty, JohnBirch society etc.
I’ve heard about the allegations on the LaRouche movement being a cult, and I would consider these questionabel since Lyndon LaRouche is stepping on a lot of peoples toes.
But I’d say you can follow any organization you want as long as it’s sincere and fights for freedom.
sure you can.. but you would want that organization to be a good one. you wouldn’t want to put your time and money behind something doomed to failure. about LaRouche being a cult, you can go see some LaRouche youth videos and see for yourself if they seem like bright and intelligent people to you..

September seems to be the rumor date yes it is….would mark the anniversy of this whole “collapse” from september of last year.Which if you google that you can find tons of rumors months before saying “september 08 there may be a crisis”
Hmm…isnt it alil odd. The Powers That Be are preparing for a world currency…or in the very least robbing us of any possible wealth and resource that we have. Collapsing us financially and making us in debt to banks and as they run the banks and the Reserve, then they control the monetary system.

They occur whenever the DOW hits a peak with some people saying it will go higher while others tell you to sell. Why do you think that there are so many financial newsletters?
The only thing Larouche can predict very accurately is that any college drop out with a family issue will be working for a few bucks a day at a card table shrine or one if his boiler rooms for years and years. His members have been always in perpetual collapse and the older ones are now losing their health insurance.
It is a cult led by a madman who has burnt through over 300 million dollars since the early 1970s. Before that, he sponged ooff of his wives . His only son gave money to Obama and is nmot in this sick cult.
Larouche is not an economist but a convicted criminal and cult leader who was sent to prison in the 1980s for hijacking over 30 million dollars from people who thought that he was a legitimate person. In this regards, Larouche is more of a Bernie Madoff with his cult’s promissory note schemes and credit card fraud. Like Madoff, hardly anyone who lost a total of nearly 34 million dollars in this madmans delusions and fraud will ever see a dime.
Larouche has been a socialist, communist, Christian, left/right winger, pro Russian, anti Russian and anything else you can imagine to sucker people to his delusions.For over 40 years he has been running a cult of endless economic collapse, New Dark Ages and Nuclear war to recruit enough naive colege kids to drop out of school and support him. His cult skips many labor laws as he has them called “volunteers” and has them running like hamsters 18 hours a day, 6 1/2 to 7 days a week with one crisis after another for about 20 to 40 dollars a week.
This cult circus has been going on for over 40 years by Larouche who has to recruit new blood to replace the worn out and broken down cult members who are discarded or those who have figured out how this farce works. Several hundred people have left the cult and in the last dying days of the elderly Larouche, he needs a few naive people to keep him and his wife living that millionaire lifestyle.
