The thing that I cannot understand is why the Arab states do nothing. Israel does as it pleases in the middle east. I used to live in a Jewish suburb and the thing that struck me was how nice the older Jews were compared to the younger ones. Make no mistake – religeons all over the world are becoming more hardline and the younger people are at the cutting edge of this. Middle eastern countries have let their young people down by not offering opportunities and losing them to radical Islam, sad.

You can generally tell how brutal and vicious an occupying power is from the level of resistance it encounters. Just look at the strength & widespread support for armed resistance movements in Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza, Chechnya even.
