Ron Paul’s Bill: US behind financial Iron Curtain?

Private mints in the US are printing gold and silver coins. Congressman Ron Paul would like to see those coins in circulation. If businesses decide to accept these coins, would it mean the end of the dollar? Or just a big mess?

If ordinary Russians were more intelligent than American politicians – not that I am defending our politicians- then the whole Soviet Union thing wouldn’t have happened.
Are they reading books of substance? Ayn Rand, Mises, Hayeck etc? Or are they reading books which help them escape the drudgery of living in a country which has still not embraced individual rights and free markets?
Ha ha ha. I always laugh when I see such common neo liberal phrases as free market, human rights and buying large.
Free market means that YOU Americans can come and compete with domestic industry, in other words destroy it. But on the other hand you don’t put the same principles in US. Lands like Brazil and India are clear example of your free market hypocrisy.
The thing in SSSR was carried by the same agenda that give you that stupid neo liberal phrases.
I never heard Ron say he wanted foreign currencies. I think he meant domestic coining for competition.
All of us patriotic Americans who believe in sound money and getting ourselves out of the manufactured New World Order tyranny thats coming down on us needs to get behind this bill and demand our congressmen to back it.

That’s not a ‘monopoly.’
It’s called Congress.
Congress has the constitutional power to define what the national currency is and did.
This kook currency movement is part of Ron Paul’s Campaign for Lunacy.
It’s not a mainstream issue and it’s not a big issue.
It’s not on the financial radar screen.
It’s just a side issue pushed by extremists.

The Constitution blocks the several states from defining their own currencies in favor of the national currency defined by Congress to avoid the chaos that would undermine “Liberty and the Free Market.”
I thought Ron Paul just wanted to legalize silver deposits like in Mexico

well , they would be great in someway or another being cabinet members, but i think they would be much more effective in the senate.
i would also go for Michael Badnarik for President, Allen West Defense Secretary, and we can probably fit Marco Rubio in there somewhere lol.

no one with dual citizenship should be in congress or our government agencies…the state department are filled with pro israel and pro war hawks…time to kick those bastards out…government should be controlled by americans only!!!
I don’t think nationality matters, i think we should elect our representatives to represent our beliefs, not blind patriotism, or a coorporate interest, or a growing israeli empire. The 2 party system should be abolished. Then again what do i know i’m a dual citizen.
